If so, this course maybe for you, as it is a quick and cost effective way of training employers, employees and volunteers in the basics of health & safety in the workplace. It can form part of an induction programme or as an update refresher course.
The Health & Safety at Work Act (1974) imposes a general legal duty on employers, employees, suppliers and owners of premises to ensure that their workplaces are safe and offer no risk to Health & Safety.
At the end of this course delegates will be able:
State the main principles of the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 (HASAWA)
Identify employee and employers responsibility under the HASAWA
Spot hazards in the workplace
Identify health & safety control measures
Complete a risk assessment
Affirm accident reporting process
